Biography
Shakil Ahmed, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the Department of Government and Politics of Jahangirnagar University. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the Department of Political Science and Sociology of North South University. Before this, he was a Research Fellow at the University of Tsukuba. Dr. Ahmed is trained in political science and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Tsukuba. He researches civil society organizations and teaches political science, history, public policy and law.
